Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Important class deadlines

Public Seats (Open Enrollment Offerings):

  • Cancellation Policy: 18 days from the class start date
  • Learner Registration Deadline: 3 business days from the class start date
  • Learner Payment Deadline: 2 business days from the class start date

Private Classes (Closed Enrollment Offerings):

  • Cancellation Policy: 30 days from the class start date
  • Roster Submission Deadline: Up to class start date: Last minute roster changes may cause a delay in attendee resource allocation.
  • Customer Payment Deadline: 30 calendar days from the class start date

Other policy guidelines

Cisco reserves the right to cancel a class at any time, including but not limited to a change in resource availability or low/no class enrollment. Upon cancellation of a class by Cisco, learners will be provided with options to reschedule or receive a full refund. We do our best to provide advanced notice of class cancellations. Classes that are marked as Guaranteed to Run on Cisco Learning Locator will not be cancelled.

Learners can reschedule their class or receive a full refund if the class start date is outside of 18 calendar days. Should a learner need to reschedule or cancel their training, the payment method received will be applied to the new class. There will be no refund if a rescheduling or cancellation request is made within 18 calendar days of the class start date. 

Private classes can be rescheduled or fully refunded if the start date is more than 30 calendar days away. Should a customer need to reschedule or cancel the training, the payment method received will be applied to the new class. There will be no refund if a rescheduling or cancellation request is made within 30 calendar days of the class start date. Rescheduling a private class within 30 calendar days of the scheduled delivery date will incur an additional course fee. 

To cancel a learner registration, reschedule a Cisco class, or obtain a refund, contact the Operations team by visiting our Class Support Tool and Opening a Case with the Product of "Live Class Support" Cisco will require the name of the Learner and class registration details (Course Name, Class Start Date, Language, Time Zone, Payment Method) in order to process a request.

Since class access is specific to an individual, the individual who is registered in the class must be the individual who attends. To replace a Learner with another Learner, please Open a Case with the Operations team by visiting our Class Support Tool and Opening a Case with the Product of "Live Class Support".

Rescheduling a class abides by the same guidelines as cancellations and is subject to the same policy rules.

  • For any cancellation or rescheduling that occurs within the cancellation policy guidelines, a refund is automatically provided.
  • For any cancellation or resscheduling that occurs outside of the cancelaltion policy guidelines, a refund will not be provided.
  • For special circumstances or to request a review of a specific situation, please open a case with our *Live class support team.
  • For Cisco-delivered classes: when cancellation occurs by a customer, Cisco takes no responsibility for incurred travel reservations, including but not limited to pre-paid airline tickets or other pre-departure expenses (visas, vaccinations, etc.) related to participation in the ordered offering.
  • For any no-show (a Learner/Customer who does not communicate a change/cancellation according to established policy and does not attend the scheduled offering), no refund will be provided.
